XAT Entrance Exam 2012 - Overview
Xaviers Admission Test - XAT is an annual entrance
exam conducted by XLRI School of Business and Human Resources
for admission to Post Graduate Management Programs of Xavier Labour Relations Institute
(XLRI), Jamshedpur and 60 other management institutes. Therefore, every year a large
number of management aspirants apply for XAT (Xaviers Admission Test) to get admission
in XLRI or other good institutes where XAT is applicable.

Eligibility Criteria for XLRI XAT:
To be eligible for appearing in XAT entrance exam is, a candidate should have either
completed the graduation or should be in the final year of graduation for provisional
admission.
How to Apply?
Online Registration
In order to register online for XAT Entrance Exam, the candidate has to visit the
website
www.xlri.edu and click "XAT Registration". The XAT Registration page
opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online XAT application form. The information
to be provided includes personal details and payment option details.

Top Exam Pattern
XAT usually
comprises 3 sections - with a time limit of 40 minutes for each of the sections.
One section is Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability questions. Another section
is Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Data Interpretation questions and the Third
section is General Awareness Questions.

For every correct answer a candidates gets 1 mark and 1/3 marks is deducted for
an incorrect answer
XAT Exam Fees:
- For General candidates:
1000/- for one programme or
1600/- for more than
one and maximum of three programme.
- For SC/ST candidates:
700/- for one programme or
1200/- for more than one
and maximum of three Programmes. Candidate should take the SC/ST certificate with
them to the bank.

help you in increasing vocabulary. Apart this, you should also read good intermediate

and others.
