Admission Committee for professional courses has sent an SMS to all applicants to
complete their admission process
With 10,200 seats going vacant in engineering colleges; admission
committee for professional courses (ACPC) has sent an SMS to all applicants to complete
their admission process.
Saturday, 23rd July 2011, was the last day for admission in engineering and pharmacy
courses. ACPC has sent an SMS to all the students who filled up forms but failed
to turn up. There are 43,007 seats excluding management quota seats. In these only
32,807 students have reported to the academic institutes.
They have been given till Monday, 25th July 2011, to report to their respective
helpline centres and complete the registration process. The second phase of reshuffling
will begin from July 26. By Monday, 25th July 2011, we will know the status of the
vacant seats in colleges, said an ACPC official.
We sent the SMS to give students a chance to salvage their careers. If
students ignore this and come later, they will have to make do with the institutes
that we allocate, said an ACPC official.
