U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association

U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association is a consortium of Unaided Non Minority Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh formed under the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court judgement in Islamic Academy of Education Vs. State of Karnataka.
The Association has been registered under the Societies Registration Act (Act No. 21 of 1860), Registration No. 346/2006/07 dated 20/07/2006. The Association is an authority to conduct Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test i.e. UPCMET 2012 for admission in the First Year of MBBS course of the member colleges.

Eligibility Criteria 2012:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University with English as a subject; securing minimum 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) marks on average in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (including practical examination) taken together.
  • Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination of 2012 are also eligible to appear in Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test, but at the time of counseling they have to produce the passing marksheet of 10+2 examination, failing which no allotment of seats will be made.
• Age Limit:
  • To appear in the Entrance Examination candidate should have completed 17 years as on 31st December, 2012.
• Nationality:
  • Admission is open to all citizen of India.

How to Apply?

A) Information Brochure along with the Application Form can be obtained,

• From branches of Oriental bank of Commerce on cash payment of 1000/-.
• By post from Coordinator UPCMT, 1st floor Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur garden Bareilly (UP) 243001 by sending Bank Draft of 1050/- in favour of UPUMCWA, Bareilly along with two self addressed stickers, before 30th April, 2012.
• And from the member Institution on cash payment of 1000/-.

B) Instruction to the Applicant:

• Once the form has been filled online, take a printout of the form, affix the photograph and put your signatures at the designated places.
• Send the duly filled in form to the Coordinator UPCMET-2012, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly - 243001 through speed post.
• Attach the following with the application form:
  • A demand draft of 1000/- in favour of "UPUMCWA" payable at Bareilly. Write your name and application form number at the back of the demand draft.
  • One Self addressed Envelope : 10"x4"
  • Four colour photographs (2.5" × 2")
  • Photocopies of the mark sheets of High School, Intermediate or Equivalent.

C) Re-print of application form:
