Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination TBJEE 2012:
The Tripura Joint Entrance Examinations Board
was formed for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other
professional degree courses. Born out of a concept of holding a common admission
test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges. The basic purpose was to
select candidates for consideration for admission to the Colleges on the basis of
the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving
of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number
of entrance tests. Tripura board JEE 2012 is conducted
in both English and Bengali medium. A candidate can attempt the entrance examination
twice in one after the other years.
Courses Offered:
The entrance test is conducted for the following courses:
- BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
- BHMS - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery.
- And many other courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a permanent native of Tripura state. He/she should be a
citizen of India.
- The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of
Secondary Education/ Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination
from a recognized board/ university, with the subjects in which the candidate desires
to appear at the Tripura board JEE 2012.

Submit the Complete Application Form along with All Necessary document Demand by
sending DD (of
25/-) from the Chairman, Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, Tripura Engineering
College Campus, Jirania Tripura - 799055. The DD should be dawn in favour of Tripura
Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office/ a branch
of any Bank at Agartala and All Fees and Charges to University Registrar Office
before The Last date of The Receipt Application from.

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) has modified the Pattern
of Question Paper for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) scheduled to be
held on 25th and 26th April 2012. The detailed information regarding the new pattern
is as follows:
- Four different subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will
have four different question papers.
- Full marks for each question paper of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology
will be of 100 marks.
- Duration of Examination of each paper will be 2 hours.
- The questions of the examination will be framed on the basis of the Syllabi of Tripura
Joint Entrance Examination which is in force w.e.f. 2008. The syllabus for each
subject is divided into 10 Modules. A Module carries 10 marks.
- Question paper for each subject will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.
- There will be 50 (fifty) compulsory MCQs, taking 5 (five) questions from each Module
for the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- Each question will carry 2 (two) marks, i.e., total marks for a question paper will
be of 100 (50x2) marks for each subject.
- No mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Reservation of Seats:
Reservation of seats for SC/ ST /Physically Handicapped (PH)/ Ward of Ex-serviceman
(EX) candidates will be as per approved norms of the State Government.
