Students who applied for transfer admissions at Government Law College came on Tuesday
only to be disappointed
After missing the first day of admissions due to incessant
rains, students who applied for transfer admissions at Government Law College came
on Tuesday only to be disappointed.
A parent, Dinesh Singh (45), sat outside the principal’s office from 11 am to 4
pm. With 65%, we thought my son will manage to get in. The college did not intimate
us about the interviews. Now, students with 51% have managed to get in and my son
did not.
The in-charge principal, Manjusha Molwane, claimed that none of the students
have been given admissions yet and only the merit list was put up. We have vacant
seats and there were 74 applications. The students who have not got in did not attend
the interview, Molwane said.
