TMI-BITS Introduction:
TMI is one of the biggest and premier institutions in India which offers maritime
education. Tolani Maritime Institute BITS Admission test or
TMISAT 2012 entrance exam is the examination organized by the Tolani
Maritime Institute. This is conducted for the admission of eligible students to
the B.S Marine Engineering and B.S Nautical Technology courses.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must have at least 60% marks in PCM group in 10+2 exam are eligible for
Tolani Maritime Institute BITS Admission for above mentioned courses. Candidate
should be less than 21 years on 1st Sept. of the year of admission.
How to Apply?
Online: Aspirants are required to submit the online
application form on the official website of institute. Then take the print out of
the filled application form with the DD of 
850/- attach the necessary documents
of proof and send to the registered address of the institute.
Offline: The TMISAT 2012 exam application form
can be procured from the TMI or any designated Axis Bank branches by paying
300/-. The application form should be carefully filled and send to the official
address of the institute as specified along with essential documents and application
fee of 850/- as DD.

Exam Pattern / Syllabus:
- TMISAT 2012 exam is an online, multiple choice and objective test of multiple
choice formats.
- Applicants are interviewed by a panel of educators and maritime professionals.
- Medical practitioners appointed by the Institute will examine all selected candidates
for certifying conformation with the medical requirements laid down by the Institute.
- There is no negative marking.
Syllabus:
The TMISAT 2012 exam is based on 11th and 12th
CBSE syllabus Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics plus English grammar, vocabulary and
logical & analytical reasoning.

Selection Procedure:
The TMISAT 2012 exam will be conducted in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata,
Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Jaipur and Dehradun. Candidates will be shortlisted
based on PCM and online test marks and will be invited for interview and medical
test at the end of June / early July 2012 at TMI campus.
