SNAP MBA Exam – Overview
SNAP Entrance Exam is conducted by Symbiosis University for its different colleges.
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a mandatory written test for admission
into any Post-Graduate programme offered by the Constituent Institutes of Symbiosis
International (Deemed University). However, it is only the first step. In addition,
a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify
for the admission to the Post-Graduate Programmes of that Institute.
Participating institutes shortlist candidates on the basis of their performance
in SNAP who then undergo institute-specific selection procedures such as interviews
and group discussions.

SNAP Exam Eligibility:
To get admission in
MBA course through SNAP exam, you should be Graduates in any discipline
from a recognized university with 50% (45% for SC/ST) aggregate are eligible. Applicants
expecting final year results also can apply.
How to Apply?
Online Apply:
Log in to
www.snaptest.org to register for SNAP Test. Candidate is required to upload
a latest scanned photograph of self at the time of online registration. Online registration
will generate your SNAP ID.
Candidate need to pay a non-refundable SNAP test fee
1550/- through the different payment modes. Choose any one payment mode by using
following guidelines,
Cash:
- After online SNAP 2011 registration print ‘Axis Bank Challan’ from SNAP website,
this is in 3 parts. Pay
1550/- in cash only at any Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches
on the website. The bank will return two stamped parts of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’.
‘Student copy’ as a receipt for candidate.
- Sign and stamped ‘Symbiosis copy’ of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’ is required to be sent
to "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" at the following Address,

Reservation:
- 15% and 7.5% of seats reserved for
SC/ST candidates respectively.
- 3% seats reserved for "differently abled candidates - for blind, hearing impaired
(Deaf/dumb) and with orthopedic disorders or mentally retarded candidates" The minimum
degree of disability and with orthopedic disorders or mentally retarded candidates"
The minimum degree of disability should be 40%in order to be eligible under this
category.
- 15% reserved for Management seats-applicants need to comply with all the eligibility
norms and apply separately only after the entire process is complete. Appearing
for SNAP test and filling of SIBM form is mandatory.

and others.
