3.3 lakh SSC students can collect their mark sheets from their respective schools
On Monday 27th June 2011 afternoon, nearly 3.3 lakh Secondary
School Certificate (SSC) students can collect their mark sheets from their respective
schools.
They can then start submitting their option forms to seek admission into the junior
colleges in the state.
Most students were waiting for their mark sheets before hitting the "confirm and
submit" button on the online admission form. After submission they would not be
able to make any changes in their online admission forms.
"I wanted to double check my marks before submitting my online form. Once I get
the mark sheet, I will be able to get my documents verified as well," said Sanjay
Kadam, a student who secured 93% in the SSC exam.
While the state government had allowed students to submit their junior college online
admission forms four days ahead of schedule, not many knew about this.
After the technical goof-up on Wednesday 22nd June 2011, when many students were
unable to access the website, most schools had called the parents to fill the forms
on Monday 27th June 2011.
"My daughter's school has called us on Monday to fill in the forms. Earlier,
we were informed that the process was only open for non-SSC students," said Anisha
Shinde, who scored 77% in her SSC exams.
