SRM Entrance Test Details

SRM Engineering Entrance Exam - SRMEEE:

The SRM University conducts an engineering entrance exam for the admission of interested students into the graduate and postgraduate courses offered by the SRM University. This entrance exam i.e. SRM University Admission exam is only for B.E, B.Tech and B.Des (Interior Designing) course.

Eligibility Criteria for SRM University Admission to B.E, B.Tech Courses:

Nationality:

The applicant for admission should be an Indian national resident and should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years.

Eligibility Criteria in Qualifying Examination:

Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech)

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and

• For all programs: Minimum 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
• For Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering: Minimum 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

Note:

• Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the SRM EEE are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs.
• Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the SRM EEE are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Food Process Engineering and Genetic Engineering programs.

The downloaded form has to be filled and couriered along with DD for 750 drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai to Director, Admissions, SRM University, Kattankulathur - 603203, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu, India.

Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern / Syllabus SRM Entrance Test:

• General: Question paper will be only in English.
• Questions are of objective type.
• Each question has 4 alternate answers.
• The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded.
• Three mark for every right answer in physics, chemistry & mathematics.
• Negative mark of 1 for every wrong answer in physics, chemistry & mathematics.
