Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test - Overview:
Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test (RPET 2012) is conducted
by Rajasthan Technical University which was established in 2005.
RPET entrance exam 2012 is basically conducted for the students who are
aspiring to take admission to courses like engineering, pharmacy and architecture.
All colleges and institutions in Rajasthan accept this test ranking for admission
to various courses like engineering, architecture.
A Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) is conducted by Malaviya National Institute
of Technology, Jaipur.

Eligibility Criteria for RPET Exam:
The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan
is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education,
Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent there to by Board of Secondary
Education, Rajasthan.
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1985 are
eligible.

RPET entrance exam 2012 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration
containing 40 objective type questions in each of the subjects of
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one mark each. There will be no
negative marking for wrong answer in the RPET Exam conducted by Rajasthan Technical
University. The questions in the test booklet will be both in Hindi as well as in
English. Medium of examination is in English.
