Retail Management is the process of bringing the product to the end user through
a series of stages, where retailing is the last one. It is not limited to quantities,
but limited to the requirement of the end user. Retail is all about distribution

co-ordination of business activities from the design stage of a product to its delivery

Eligibility for
Retail Management Course:
Candidates with a high school graduation or its equivalent plus two or degree
holders can apply for certificate, diploma or degree courses in Retail Management.
Retailers Association of India (RAI), the first independent body of retailers in
India, conducts a Common Admission Retail Test (CART) on national basis for admission
to Postgraduate Program in Retail Management (PGPRM) offered in 15 B-Schools across
India. Candidates applying for CART must hold a bachelor degree with 50% marks.
Final year students can also apply. Selection will be on the basis of following
National Admission Tests scores -
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or
Common Admission Test (CAT) or
Xaviers Admission Test (XAT) or
ATMA exam.
