The basic eligibility for admission to First Year Degree Course in Pharmacy is revised
as follows
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII)
examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics
AND Secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum
40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of
Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/ Mathematics
shall be considered for the purpose of addition) AND Obtained a non zero score at
MHT-CET 2011.
Centralized
Admission Process (CAP) for Pharmacy Course:
For the academic year 2011-12, the Competent Authority shall conduct total Three
(3) rounds of Centralized Admission. The CAP shall consist of first two (2) rounds
of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates (both Maharashtra and OMS)
will fill separate/fresh Online Option forms for respective rounds. Third round
of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra
State candidates.
Candidates who have filled in and confirmed the Online Application form for Admission
to Pharmacy course at ARCs and who have been assigned a merit no. shall be eligible
to participate in the CAP.
