by the institute. The AIIMS examination department is studying various successful
online entrance examination models, including that of
CAT and online test for Manipal Medical

for the MBBS and MD entrance exams for its undergraduate, PG and other courses at
182 centres across India. In all, AIIMS conducts 14 entrance examinations in a year,
including Bio-Technology, MBBS, MD/PG, Nursing Programs, M.Sc. Programmes. AIIMS
is planning to implement this plan from 2012.
With the AIIM exam going online, the anxiety among the students is justifiable.
To get over the anxiety, be prepared for the online mode. The following tips will
help you –
- While giving the test online you should remember that you cannot mark anything as
this time it’s a computer screen! You cannot underline anything and you can't even
take a look at all the questions simultaneously. In paper pencil test it is possible
to mark and you can go through the question paper at same time.
- Don't panic when you enter the centre for the test. Concentrate on what you are
there for, and for what you have been working for a long time.
- Calmly handle all the formalities prior to the test.
- One should brush up one’s basic computer knowledge so as to be more comfortable
with online exam.
