Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology:
Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is an autonomous institution of the
Government of NCT of Delhi. It formally comes under the purview of Faculty of Technology,
University of Delhi and is the only engineering college under the University.
Until 2009, NSIT shared its admission procedure and syllabus for B.E courses with
Delhi College of Engineering, both of which were prescribed by the Faculty of Technology,
University of Delhi. But with the conversion of Delhi College of Engineering (DCE)
into Delhi Technological University (DTU), NSIT has become the only engineering
college (technical institute) of the University of Delhi.
NSIT has continuously been featuring in lists of the top 10 engineering colleges
of India by engineering education surveys conducted by India Today, Outlook and
Dataquest-NASSCOM etc.
NSIT Admission 2012 counseling for admission to 1st year B.E. (Full-time) based
on All India rank of AIEEE-2011 results, as applicable, in collaboration with National
Informatics Centre (NIC).

Eligibility Criteria for NSIT B.E Admission for the year 2012:
Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch:
- The candidate should have appeared in AIEEE-2011 and have been declared eligible
for Central Counseling Board by the C.B.S.E.
A candidate who has passed any of the following qualifying examinations from a recognized
School/ College/ Institute located within NCT of Delhi (for Delhi Region candidates)
or located outside NCT of Delhi (for Outside Delhi Region candidates) only and securing
60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, shall
be eligible to apply for NSIT admission 2012 to the first semester of Bachelor of
Engineering Courses provided he has passed in each subject in one of the following
examinations separately:
- Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of
Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
- Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian
School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate
Examination of the C.B.S.E. by the University of Delhi.
- A candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study either
at the 10th Class level or 12th Class level (core or elective).
