All OBC Candidates are given a complete 10% relaxation while SC/ST Aspirants are
getting a 5% relaxation
The cutoff for the non-collegiate women's education board
in Delhi University has seen a rise in the range of 1% to 3%.
According to its first list, released on Friday 24th June, the cutoff mark for B.Com
in Hans Raj increased by 3% from that of 2010. The rest of the colleges hiked it
by 1%. The admission starts from June 27. All OBC candidates are given a complete
10% relaxation while SC/ST aspirants are getting a 5% relaxation.
While Hans Raj College cutoff is 75% for general candidates, Lakshmi bai College
cutoff is 72% in the best of four subjects which includes one language, business
studies, accountancy and any other best subject, including a vocational one. Student's
of the non-commerce streams will also be considered, but with a 5% drop.
Thirteen DU colleges accept non-collegiate women candidates who pursue B.Com on
the weekends. These are Hans Raj, Lakshmi bai, Kalindi, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee,
Jesus and Mary, Maitreyi, Arwachin Bharati Bhawan, Maharaja Agrasen, Janki Devi
Memorial, Mata Sundri, Bharati, St Margaret Senior Secondary school and PGDAV College.
The course is completed in 50 teaching days.
