Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH-HM-CET)
What is it?
Government of Maharashtra conducts a Common Entrance Test for candidates seeking
admission to Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
The MAH-HM-CET would be administered by the Competent
Authority, on its own or in collaboration with or through a professional agency
with proven record of its competence and experience in such process of personnel
selection through competitive examinations.

- Un-Aided Hotel Management And Catering Technology Colleges in the State of Maharashtra
which are
- Approved by All India Council for Technical Education
( AICTE )
- Recognized by the Government of Maharashtra
- Affiliated to any one of the ten Non Agricultural/Non Technological Universities
in the State of Maharashtra
Courses you can apply for :
- Four year degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology
(HMCT)
Who can appear :
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed/appeared* the HSC
(Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics.
AND
Secured minimum 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum
45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of
Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics added together AND Obtained a non zero score in subjects
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at
MHT-CET.
Exam Pattern
The MAH-HM-CET-2010 test will consist of one question paper of maximum 100 marks
to test the aptitude of the candidate for Hotel Management and Catering Technology
degree course.
