List of Medical Entrance Exams in India

Medical as a career is one of the most stable and sought after career in India. It essentially deals with healthcare of patients. No other career can give so much respect and profits as a career in medical. A doctor in society is considered as a life giver. Over the years, specializations in medical have increased tremendously and medical as a career has become very vast. Emergence of Healthcare and number of scientific and technological developments in the field of medical science and research has provided a boost to medical. This profession has wide scope due to the fact that the number of qualified doctors in India is very less as compared to their availability. Many medical colleges have come up in India to bridge this gap in requirement and availability of qualified doctors.

Students who wish to take up Medical as a career have to pass medical entrance examination to get entry into prestigious medical colleges in India. There are list of various All India entrance tests conducted nationally. Apart from these All India Entrance Tests there are some state level entrance exams conducted by every state and exams conducted by deemed universities as well. AIPMT is an exam conducted by CBSE for MBBS/Dental course; AIIMS and AFMC are other all India level exams. Assam JAT, BET Exam, GUJ CET Pharma etc are some other state level exams.
