LBSIM PGDM Admission 2012 - Overview:
Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM)
is an established center of excellence in Management and IT education. Lal Bahadur
Shastri Institute of Management conducts an admission process for its post graduate
programmes in management, these are: PGDM (General) & PGDM (Finance). LBSIM has
a decent infrastructure and facilities for management education. Its PGDM (General)
course has 120 seats while the PGDM (Finance) programme has 60 seats. LBSIM has
also been approved by AICTE. Candidates are shortlisted for PG Management programmes
of LBSIM on the basis of their
CAT entrance exam scores.

Eligibility Criteria for LBSIM:
A candidate should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institute
with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Graduation. Candidates in their final
year of graduation can also apply.
How to apply?
The Information Brochure and Application Form for the programme giving detailed
information will be available from September to December 2011 from the Admission
Coordinator, LBS Institute of Management, on all working days except second Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays between 9.30 am to 6.00 pm at LBSIM Dwarka, New Delhi Campus
and from 2.00 pm to 7.30 pm at LBSIM R. K. Puram, New Delhi Campus, on payment of
1600/- in cash or by Demand Draft (add
75/- for sending Information Brochure by post in India and
200/- for abroad) drawn in favour of 'LBS Institute of Management' payable at New
Delhi.
Application form for admission to LBSIM PGDM course
can also be downloaded from website mentioned below. Such downloaded application
forms must be submitted along with a DD of
1675/- (
1800/- for candidates residing abroad) in favour of 'LBS
Institute of Management' payable at New Delhi, towards Information Brochure,
postage and processing. The information brochure and the application forms are sent
by post/courier to the applicants. Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM)

Exam Pattern
Selection Procedure for Admission to LBSIM:
- All candidates seeking admission to LBSIM, Delhi will be required to appear in the
Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs.
- Besides CAT, candidates are required to register at LBSIM, Delhi through a separate
Application Form which will be available along with Information Brochure from Admission
Coordinator, LBSIM, Delhi.
- Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion
(GD), Extempore and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection at one of the following
places (as selected by the candidate at the time of applying for registration with
LBSIM).

- The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT score and 40% for Group Discussion,
Extempore and Personal Interview. Selected candidates will be intimated by Registered
