PGCET for MBA, MCA, M.E., M,Tech Admission
It’s testing time for around 40,000 PG aspirants in the state.
The postgraduate common entrance test (PGCET) that holds key to the MBA, MCA, ME
and M.Tech seats in the state will be held this weekend.
The Karnataka Examination Authority, which is conducting the exam for the first
time, has received 19,500 application forms for MBA, 7,500 for MCA and 15,000 for
M.Tech. So far it was the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VIT) that has been
conducting the entrance examination. The examination will be conducted in 50 centres
out of which 17 are in the city. The ME/M.Tech exam will be held from 10.30 am to
12.30 pm on Saturday 6th August. The test for MBA will be held on Sunday 7th August
morning. MCA will be held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm the same day.
