JCECE 2012 Medical Entrance Exam Overview:
JCECE 2012 Medical Entrance Exam is conducted
by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE)
Board for selection of candidates into the first year of Engineering as well as Medical degree programs in various
government and private institutes/colleges in Jharkhand.
Courses Offered:
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a citizen of India and local resident of Jharkhand. The candidates
must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board, with
a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in aggregate along with
English for the JCECE 2012 Medical Entrance Exam.
In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes or other
Backward Class the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together
in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination will be 40% instead
of 50% as stated above.
Age Limit: For M.B.B.S and B.D.S Course, Minimum
age should be 17 years on 31st December 2012 of Examination Year.
How to Apply?
Obtained an Application-Form from Main Post Office of all Districts and other designated
Post Office which should be in favour of "Controller of Examination, JCECEB" and
ad attaché a demand draft of
585/- (for General) and
310/- (for OBC) payable at Ranchi. Send the Application-Form through Registered
Post/ Speed Post to The Controller of Examination, Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive
Examination Board, Engineer’s Hostel, H.E.C. Campus, Sector – 3, Dhurwa, Ranchi,
Jharkhand – 834023.

Exam Centres:
Jharkhand Medical Entrance Test will be conducted
at Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh and Dumka. Normally centre will
be allotted according to the option. But, in special circumstances the Board can
change any examination centre.
