How to Crack SNAP 2011

Large number of MBA candidates appears for SNAP entrance exam Test every year. In order to make the cut, you should start SNAP Exam preparations early. If we at question papers from previous three years, we can easily find that the paper was anything between ease and almost all the sections have been on the easier side in the last years, but the sectional cut-offs have been on the high. The secret to crack SNAP exam lies in how accurately and swiftly you solve your question. According to experts, one can solve more questions by elimination of options as most of the questions are on easier side and solve more questions in minimum time. Here are some preparation tips that can help you to crack SNAP.

1. Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency:

Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation is available in one section. Quantitative ability section has multiple types of questions across topics. It is not an intelligent decision to attempt new questions all of sudden in test. So, keep on practicing questions everyday with added emphasis with speed. Also revise important formulas and browse through the lessons that you have practiced for different tests this year during your preparations for other MBA entrance tests. In Order to Crack SNAP Exam you should Excel in the sections.

2. Verbal Ability:

In this section English Usage, Grammar, and Vocabulary based questions helps the test takers to understand the basic of the rules of context, appropriateness and correctness of the candidates. So, if one is good at Basic English, they will be able to answer easily. The emphasis on reading and grasping has gone down over the years. If there are minimum days to be left, candidate has to enhance his vocabulary also go through the basics of grammar. Candidate has to increase his ability to go through correct sentences, Idioms, phrases as well as solve questions on everyday basis. Do not ignore this section. Adequate time should be give for this section in your SNAP exam preparation schedule.

3. Logical Reasoning:

Most of the candidates earn maximum marks in this section of test. Mostly questions are straightforward and no confusion in it. So, you must try practicing different kinds of questions with different ways like implicit statements, arguments and so on.

4. General Knowledge Section:

The Major part of the SNAP is dependent on GK section which is also called as the deal-maker of this test. This section has the lowest cut-off among the 4 sections, yet even the best test-takers have to struggle to cross this hurdle. Gear up for GK well in advance. Preparation for this section should start at least a year before. In fact, the preparation for GD and GK can go hand-in-hand. You need to keep yourself abreast of all the current affairs and matters of national and international interest. This will help you form an opinion during the group discussion sessions as well as in the GK section. If you have joined any coaching institute, you will be provided with ample study material for GK. The Manorama yearbook or any annual edition of a GK book should suffice. SNAP has been known to have an affinity for business GK. Be well-versed with the same.
