Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will declare the
result of SSC exams on Thursday
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
declared the SSC result on Wednesday. In city schools, the result came late in the
evening as Gujarat falls in the Ajmer region, which declared the result after 4
pm.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
Board (GSHSEB) will declare the result of SSC exams on Thursday. Over
eight lakh students have appeared for class X exams. The result will be declared
at 9 am and will be available in schools after 10.30 am.
On Wednesday, most CBSE schools in the city were scrambling to compile the result
of their school as details were incomplete. Meanwhile, the students were able to
individually get the result giving the schools a good enough idea about the performance
of their students.
Principal of Prakash School Hemant Shah said that 123 students from the school had
appeared for the exams and the school has posted 100% result, 18 students have scored
10/10 cumulative grade point which is the highest score. Principal of Maharaja Agrasen
School Shobha Tyagi said the school has got 100 per cent result and nearly 15 students
have scored 10/10.
We are still in the process of analyzing the result, said Tyagi. The DPS School
in Bopal too secured cent per cent result. In Rachana School, which had opted for
a board-based exam, 82 children appeared for the test and 23 students scored 10/10.
School managements of the CBSE schools said the overall picture of the result will
be clear by Thursday morning. All the results were declared in grades and percentile.
It needs mention that the GSHSEB students too will get result in grades and percentile
for the first time on Thursday. This year, the board had conducted exams for five
papers while the schools had conducted exams of two optional papers.
The paper style too was different, as 50% questions were subjective and remaining
50% objective in nature.
