GUJ CET Entrance Exam 2012 – Overview:
Gujarat Common entrance Test (CET) is conducted
by The Education Department, Government of Gujarat and it has assigned The Gujarat
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to hold CET for admission into various
medical, engineering and pharmacy courses in the state of Gujarat.
GUJCET 2012 entrance exam is only open for the candidates who belong
to the state of Gujarat. This common entrance test is considered as one of the toughest
exam that candidates have to face for their upcoming future. This exam is one of
the best choices for the students to get into Gujarat’s top institutes for engineering,
medical and pharmacy.
Courses Offered:
Gujarat common entrance test (CET) is the one of the engineering entrance examination
through which candidates can get admission to following courses
- B.Tech - Bachelor of Technology.
- B.E. - Bachelor of Engineering.
- MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery.
- BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
- B.Pharma - Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Colleges Under GUJCET:
Gujarat CET Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates should have passed XII(Sci) or equal examination. Those who are appearing
for class 12th exams in 2012 are also eligible for GUJCET 2012 entrance exam. Also
the candidate requires to have completed his/her XII from a Gujarat school.
How to Apply?
The admission form for the GUJCET 2012 entrance exam
can be procured by all aspirants from the schools. The cost of the form is
250/-. The forms will also be available by government on post office, for that the
candidate require to draw a DD from nationalized bank. The draft must be taken in
favour of the secretary, Gujarat common entrance test cell, Gandhi Nagar. This draft
ought to be payable at Ahmedabad.

Exam Pattern
Gujarat Common Entrance Exam Pattern:
Candidates who have dream to be a part of Gujarat Common Entrance Test. It is a
written test of 3 hours. There are 4 sections in test - Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
GUJ CET 2012 Entrance Exam Centres:
GUJ CET Selection Procedure:
The selection process will be done on the basis of Gujarat common entrance test.
GUJCET 2012 Entrance exam will be based on the syllabus of Std XI & XII. There will
be 4 sections in the test. Each section will be of 1 hr. There will be 40 questions
in each section. The various sections are - Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Each question will carry 1 mark.
GUJ CET 2012 Fees Details:
GUJCET 2012 entrance exam application forms are available at a cost of
250/- to be paid in the form of DD drawn from any Nationalized Bank, in favor of
the Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar, payable at Ahmedabad.
