This year the exams are delayed by a month due to newly introduced semester system.
The first phase of Gujarat University’s examination will
begin on April 5. Examination of about 16 courses like second year B.A., B.Com, B.Sc,
B.B.A. and B.C.A. will start from April 5. In the second phase which will begin on April
17, the university will conduct the examination for 13 courses including T.Y.B.A., T.Y.B.Com,
T.Y.B.Sc, B.B.A. and B.C.A. The last phase of exams will begin on April 28th, where students
of M.Com, M.A., M.Sc, B.Ed and other course will write their papers. Second semester
of F.Y.B.A., F.Y.B.Com, F.Y.B.Sc will also begin on April 28th. The detailed exam schedule
can be obtained from Gujarat University’s website. “Until last year, the exams used
to begin by second week of March. But this year the exams are delayed by a month
due to newly introduced semester system”, said a source at GU.
