This is the first time university will conduct semester exams of undergraduate BA, B.Com
and B.Sc students as part of the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS).
Gujarat University (GU) will conduct the final exams of the
first semester from November 19. This is the first time university will
conduct semester exams of undergraduate BA, B.Com and B.Sc students as part of the
Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS).
GU officials said that 80,000 students are expected to take the exams. With Diwali
vacation round the corner, college authorities will make a scramble to get the exam
forms filled in two-three days. At present, colleges are busy as internal exams
are being conducted.
This time, the forms have been prepared with Optical Mark Reader (OMR) and will
come complete with all the details including the name, address, branch opted by
the student as well as his or her picture. The forms will only have to be signed
after checking the details.
