University of Cincinnati (UC) announced the Global Opportunity
Scholarship worth Rs 67,50,000 each, to be awarded to two meritorious
rural-Maharashtra girl students, making India the first beneficiary country.
The winners will receive full scholarships, including full tuition fee, housing,
meals and airfare for a total value of over US$ 150,000 each, to pursue their Bachelor's
in engineering at UC commencing September. Jon Weller, director of international
admissions at University of Cincinnati, will personally visit the students and their
families to escort students back to the university.
