Film and Television Institute of India is amongst

FTII
is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the

Eligibility Criteria :
The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in any subject. For the course
on Animation and Computer Graphics the minimum qualification is
"10+2". Additionally a student intending to apply for the course in Audiography
must also have passed in Physics at the "10+2"
level.)
Reservation :
15 % of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes,
7.5% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes and for this year (2010-2011)
only, 27% of the total seats are reserved for the non-creamy layer of the Other
Backward Classes (OBCs)
3% of the total seats are also reserved for persons with disabilities in accordance
with Government policy.
Selection Procedure: Selection based on Entrance
Exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
How to Apply?
Procedure for Online Application :
- Prepare a Demand Draft (Rs. 2000/- for General / OBC
[Non Creamy Layer] Candidate and Rs. 1650/- for SC/ST Candidate) drawn on
any of the branches of the Indian Bank or any Nationalized Bank, in favour of "Accounts
Officer"
FTII, Pune.
- Be sure about the Course and Center you want to apply for.
- After you have filled up the online form. Following documents only should be sent
to Film and Television Institute of India, Pune :
- Two passport size photographs and Demand Draft. (Photograph
can also be uploaded online).
- Declaration by Candidate and Parent/Guardian
- After receipt of DD by Post or Courier, status of your application will be changed
within about a week's time. It will then be possible for you to print Admit Card
for the Entrance Examination.
- You can check status of your application online using your Username and Password
which you have created while applying online.
Procedure for Offline Application :
Obtain a copy of the Prospectus either by post or personally and Prepare a Demand
Draft (Rs. 2000/- for General / OBC [Non Creamy Layer] Candidate and Rs. 1650/-
for SC/ST Candidate) drawn on any of the branches of the Indian Bank or any Nationalized
Bank, in favour of "Accounts Officer"
