Top Colleges set cut-offs in the range of 90s and 80s for Professional Courses
While colleges will be declaring their first merit list on
20 June, Monday, despite the low passing percentage, top colleges are pegging their
cut-offs in the 90s and 80s range for professional courses.
Although the pass percentage of HSC dipped by nearly 6% this year, experts warn
that cut-offs for popular professional courses such as BMS, BMM and B.Sc IT are expected
to rise by at least 2%.
KPB Hinduja College has received 3,500 applications for only 60 seats in Bachelors
of Management Studies (BMS), and around 90 seats in Bachelors of Accounting and
Finance.
Vaze College of Commerce, in Mulund has received over 1,300 applications for Bachelors
of Science with Biotechnology and nearly double the number for Information Technology.
