About Faculty of Management Studies (FMS)
The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) focuses
on management education more than just business management. The commitment is thought
leadership with a deep understanding of business. The approach to pedagogy combines
fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts
and theory. The intent is to encourage intellectual curiosity and open minds to
the adventure of ideas.
FMS has the unique privilege to be part of one of the premier universities world
– the University of Delhi - with some of the finest departments in Economics, Law,
Sociology, Commerce and Operations Research.
Courses Offered:
FMS has been admitting students through Entrance Exam to the following management
programs:
- PhD (Management).
- Two - year MBA (Full Time).
- Two - year MBA-Management of Services (MS).
- Three – year MBA (Part Time).
- Three - year MBA (PT) Health Care Administration (only through interview).
Eligibility FMS:
Candidates applying for admission to the MBA full-time
programme for year 2012, must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree programme
after twelve years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines.
The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines
is as follows:
- Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50%.
- Sciences - 55%.
- Mathematics or Statistics - 60%.
- Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60%/ CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10.
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3scheme, securing at least
60%marks.
Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility will be allowed only to candidates
of the following categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ CW).
How to Apply for Admission in FMS?
Candidates applying to any of the Programmes are required to visit FMS website (www.fms.edu)
and apply online.
Applications for the admission into FMS will be received only through the online registration process.
