Information about colleges which have been denied affiliation is available on the
official website of AICTE.
The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has
denied affiliation to 34 colleges across the country, including eight colleges from
Bhopal, for the academic session 2011-12.
The Bhopal institutes which have been denied affiliation include Jai Narayan College
of Technology, Lakshmi Narayan College of Technology and Science, Lakshmi Narayan
College of Pharmacy, Oriental College of Pharmacy and Oriental Institute of Science
and Technology.
Speaking against the decision, Suresh Chauksey, the director of LNCT,
said that the college fulfills all the criteria for AICTE affiliation. The colleges
have been given time till July 7 to present their side.
