All India Entrance Test 2012 - Overview:
The All India Entrance Test 2012 (referred as
Dr. D. Y. Patil AIET 2012 Exam) is conducted for selection of candidates for admission
to various Health Science Courses conducted in constituent colleges of Dr. D. Y.
Patil University, this University, situated in its campus at Nerul, Navi Mumbai,
400706, Maharashtra State. The Medical & Dental are recognized by the Medical Council
of India, Dental Council of India respectively. The Medium of Instruction for all
courses is English.

Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates must be Indian National. The Nationality Certificate issued by the District
Magistrate I Additional District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a
valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
- Candidate should have passed H.S.C (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a Recognized
Board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward
class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS/ BDS. The Backward class candidates
must attach copy of the Caste Certificate and Caste Verification Certificates along
with the application.
Age Limit: The candidate must be either 17 years
of age or attain this age as on 31.12.2012 (i.e. the candidate should not have been
born after 31.12.1994)
How to Apply?
A candidate have to pay
2000/- for the entrance fee payable by demand draft drawn in favour of "Padmashree
Dr. D. Y. Patil University", on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, payable at Navi Mumbai.
The Demand draft must be dispatched at the following given address only.

Dr. D. Y. Patil AIET 2012 Exam shall be conducted

The address of the Examination Centre assigned to a candidate will be given in the
Hall Ticket. No request for change of centre mentioned in the application form shall
be entertained.
