The list of selected candidates will be declared on 28.07.2011

This Notification is being issued in regard to the process of selection and admissions to be granted to the 1st year of Bachelor of Para Medical Technology (BPMT) Courses for the Academic Year 2011-2012, pursuant to the Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2011) conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra on 12.05.2011.
Information regarding the various courses, number of seats including category-wise seat distribution and the Institutions conducting these courses is available on the web site of DMER.
The selection and admission for BPMT courses will be governed by the rules stated in the Preference Form Information Brochure. The Preference Form Information Brochure is available on website of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), i.e. www.dmer.org.
Candidates should carefully go through the entire Information Brochure and follow the instructions for further course of selection and admission. Kindly note that noncompliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result in rejection of claim for admission.
The candidates should attend the counseling (proxy not allowed) at the respective Regional center as given in Table 1 below on the scheduled dates and at the scheduled sessions, in accordance with their S.M.L. No. as given in Table 2. During the counseling session eligible candidates (for Open Category HSC PCB not less than 50% and for Reserve Category HSC PCB not less than 40%) will fill the preferences for BPMT courses. The list of institution-wise, various course-wise codes are available on the website along-with all other relevant information.

Regional centres for Counseling & submission of Preference Form

Pre-printed preference forms with the particulars of each and every candidate set out hereunder, with the name, Roll No., S.M.L. No. and category, etc., will be made available to each of the candidates at the aforesaid Regional Centres. The candidates are hereby called upon to report on the date specified in the following Table and the Sessions set out there under in accordance with their S.M.L. No.

Schedule for filling of Preference form at all Regional Centres

The candidate must report to the respective Regional Centre personally (proxy will not be permitted), as set out in Table no.1 at the specified time and date set out in Table no.2 above, along with all the relevant documents in terms of the Information Brochure. It is made hereby clear that if the relevant documents are not produced by the candidates at the time of counseling, claim will not be granted.
The list of selected candidates will be declared on 28.07.2011 on the website of D.M.E.R. Please note that the selection process of other health science courses and BPMT courses being conducted by this competent authority are independent of each other.
The candidates are also called upon to keep regular track of Notifications that may be issued from time to time by the undersigned in this regard, which will also be made available from time to time on the website of D.M.E.R.
