Basic JMET Exam Preparation Tips and Strategies
How to Prepare for JMET:
JMET (Joint Management Entrance Test) is a qualifying examination
for the two-year full - time postgraduate Management degree programmes. Usually
conducted in December, JMET is organized by IITs on a rotational policy. On qualifying,
applicants have to apply to the chosen institutes separately. However, you have
to meet the eligibility criteria of the institutes as well. Participating institutes
shortlist candidates on the basis of their performance in JMET who then undergo
institute-specific selection procedures such as interviews and group discussions.
JMET test is of 2 hours and contains 150 questions.

In order to crack JMET entrance Exam, you should always remember the following tips:
- The most essential thing is your speed and you should save some time before submitting
the paper at the end.
- English section is very easiest section.
- Critical Reasoning contains some difficult questions like data arrangement and linear
arrangement.
- There should be good observation skills and comparison of values in Data interpretation.
- Candidates should concentrate on speed as well as accuracy.
- Give Mock tests or solve previous years question paper. This will help you to understand
JMET paper pattern and boost your confidence during exam.
- If you are not sure about a question, leave it and attempt the next one.
