MBBS/BDS: Subsequent to the Entrance test held
on 21.05.2011 for UG CET 2011 the results were uploaded on the Association website
on 15.06.2011. Now the Association would conduct the counseling for MEDICAL and
DENTAL for seat selection process at Bangalore, Mangalore & Gulbarga simultaneously.
The Association entered into an agreement with the Government in seat sharing and
Fee Fixation for the year 2011-12. Accordingly following is the breakup of seats:

Eligibility Criteria for Counseling:
As per the merit list, candidates who have secured 50% & above in the KRLMPCA UG
CET 2011 are eligible for the counseling.
Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2
higher secondary or equivalent examination, the last two years of study comprising
of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject, must
have passed in all these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum
of 50% of marks taken together in PCB. In addition, must have secured not less than
50% marks in PCB in the competitive Entrance Test conducted by KRLMPCA.
For BDS a minimum of 50% of marks is mandatory for all candidates both in qualifying
examination (PCB) and Competitive Entrance Test conducted by KRLMPCA.
Following documents should be submitted at the time of counseling
(NO ATTESTATION REQUIRED):
- KRLMPCA UG CET 2011 Admission Ticket - ORIGINAL.
- SSLC/10th or equivalent certificate for proof of birth – PHOTO COPY.
- PUC /10+2 Marks card – PHOTO COPY.
- One recent passport size photograph.
- Religious (Muslim)/Linguistic (Koduva, Tulu, Tamil, Telugu) Minority certificate
issued by the competent authority - PHOTO COPY.
Note:
- No individual intimation will be sent to the candidates.
- Candidate has to appear for the counseling in person. The candidate who fails to
appear in person at the notified date/time shall forfeit his/her claim for allotment
of seat.
Candidate has to submit the required documents and the same will be sent to the
colleges. On the basis of their eligibility, colleges will inform the candidates
for the payment of admission Fees. The candidate should collect back the original
documents when once they are verified.
No candidate need to bring DD at the time of counseling. Selected candidate shall
pay the fees as prescribed by State Govt. (Medical Rs. 3.25 lakhs and Dental Rs. 2.30
lakhs as tuition fees per year.) and other fees as fixed by statutory/competent
authorities to the Principals of allotted colleges at the time of joining the college.
The list of candidates who have selected seats and allotted to different colleges
would be put on the website on 19/7/2011.
REFUND AND FORFEITURE OF FEE: as per government norms LEGAL
JURISDICTION: Any dispute that may arise in respect of the seat selection
process and admission is subject to the jurisdiction of the Hon able High Court
of Karnataka.
