The 24th convocation of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is going
to be held on September 5.
According to Manorama Singh, regional director of IGNOU,
the main function will be held on IGNOU campus, New Delhi. The convocation would
be held simultaneously through teleconferencing at select regional centres throughout
the country, including the regional centre in Varanasi.
In Varanasi, the convocation would be held at the auditorium of arts faculty,
Banaras Hindu University. Prithvish Nag, vice-chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi
Vidyapeeth, will address the students on the occasion.
