COMEDK UG Engineering Entrance Test Details
COMEDK UGET 2012 Exam - Overview:
The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association,
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" COMEDK
has been assigned the task of organizing a COMEDK UGET 2012 Exam for the academic
year 2012-2013, for candidates aspiring to pursue Under Graduate courses Medical,
Dental and Engineering Colleges in the State of Karnataka. The
COMEDK UGET 2012 exam is mandatory for candidates seeking admissions
for the Under-Graduate courses in COMEDK Member Institutions. The COMEDK UG Engineering
Entrance Test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year 2012-2013.

Eligibility:
General Merit Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is
2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent qualifying Examination recognized
by State/ Central Government with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics
and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry as one of the optional
subjects. English as one of the language of study is compulsory. There are no minimum
marks fixed for entrance test. Hence all candidates who have taken the entrance
test will find a place in the merit list as per their performance. SC, ST candidates
of All India and OBC candidates of Karnataka the aggregate marks in PCM should not
be less than 45% in the qualifying examination as mentioned above. All other details
remain the same.
How to Apply ?
Candidates have to apply online at the website www.comedk.org. For this they have to first obtain a Demand
Draft of 
800/- for (PCM). After filling the details in the online form of COMEDK
UGET 2012 Exam candidates have to send the printed version of the online form and
send it to COMEDK address along with Demand Draft and the mentioned documents.
