Class 12 (Sci) results to be out on May 12
The wait will be finally over for secondary and higher secondary students as the
results of exams conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher
Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will be declared in the next few days.
SM Rabari, examination secretary, GSHSEB said, "The XII (science) field results
will be out on May 12, while results of general stream will be declared on May 26."
He said that result of secondary examination (class 10) will be declared according
to the earlier announced schedule of June 2.
Thousands of students are keeping their fingers crossed and are going through nail
biting moments as they wait for their results so that they can chalk out their next
career move. However, the students of XII (science) may have to wait a little more
before they lay their hands on their mark sheets, as school teachers are scheduled
to undergo a training programme. A source said, "The XII (science) result will be
out on May 12 and the training programme for school principals will begin on May
13 and will continue till May 15." Due to this, it is likely that students will
have to wait for a few days to get true copies and the mark sheet attested by school
principals.
However, Rabari didn't see it as a major hurdle. He said, "I don't see this as a
major problem. Students can get copies attested and signed from the principal on
the result date itself or after three days when the training gets over. Three days
should not be a much of a problem for them."
Meanwhile, students seem least bothered about the issue and are more than happy
to get the exam results. "I am just keeping my fingers crossed and worried about
my result," said Julie Thakkar, a Class 10 student.
