Total of 300 students guided by 30 faculties took part in the inter disciplinary
workshop
Tales of evolution, in the form of comic strips, collages
and sketches of some areas in Ahmedabad like Asarva, Kalupur, Prahlad nagar, Chandkheda
and Thaltej were put up at the campus of Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology
(CEPT) University. The exhibition will be open for public from January 5.
A total of 300 students guided by 30 faculties took part in the inter
disciplinary workshop conducted between December 12 and 30. Students worked together
to understand the city from varied perspectives, so that future issues could be
understood with better clarity. The students formed various vertical groups to explore
topics like dwelling, working environment, education, recreation and civic, institutional
and religious environment, said CEPT University faculty Sachin Soni. The students
visited various places around the city and have tried to understand and analyze
the situation there, he added.
