Consortium of Management Education (COME) commences Centralized Admission

 B schools in maharashtra

The Consortium of Management Education (COME), a collaboration of Maharashtra’s 52 leading Business schools, has announced the commencement of its Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for member institutes of COME. Students will be able to fill in the forms online through the website www.comeassociation.org/index.htm from June 1 onwards without any hassles of long queues or tedious procedures.
TCAP round involves Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted centrally by COME. GD-PI will be conducted at various locations namely: Mumbai / Pune / Nagpur / Aurangabad / Nasik / Jalgaon / Kolhapur / Hyderabad /New Delhi / Bengaluru / Bhubaneswar / Indore / Jaipur. Student who has given any of the tests namely: CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET /MHCET / any state level entrance test is also eligible for the process.
COME is a premier alliance where the 52 unaided private institutions unite to reach out to students in each part of the country and provide them a uniform platform to pursue further education. COME not only makes the admission process easy for the student but also provides them with the best of the colleges which inculcate AICTE approved courses in their curriculum.
COME has a common admission procedure where the student can apply to COME institutes through their CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET / MHCET / respective state level CET scores. Student who does not have any scores is also eligible to apply. After applying to COME, the student has to appear for a Group discussion and personal interview round which will be held this year from 8/06/11 to 21/06/11 at Mumbai / Pune / Nagpur / Aurangabad / Nasik / Jalgaon / Kolhapur / Hyderabad / New Delhi / Bengaluru / Bhubaneswar / Indore / Jaipur . The results of these will be announced on (dates).
Speaking on the commencement of admission procedure (Dr. Apoorva Palkar, Executive President of COME), said, “COME has come together to provide the students with optimum resource to pursue higher management education. in 2008 the National Knowledge Commission had foreseen India will require 3,00,000 employable graduates in the next 10-15 years. There is a national concern for the shortage of skilled labour in India. This is the issue we wish to address and hence would like to do our bit by providing students an easy access to colleges as well as AICTE approved syllabus.”
