If you want to appear for Institutes under NCHMCT, then the eligibility criteria is 10+2 and you also have to clear the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).

Career Options: Course in catering management opens up a variety of career options which can be very challenging and interesting. One can find job in hotels/ restaurants, airlines catering, railway catering, army catering, food processing companies, confectioneries, theme restaurants, malls, base kitchens, private hospitals, cruise liners, corporate catering etc. and the salaries are whopping. As one gains experience of around ten years, one can draw a salary of Rs.40000 to Rs. 50000 in a reputed hotel. When one reaches to the top and becomes an executive chef, one’s salary can be anything between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh per month.
