Students of Std XII Science who studied from textbooks came out smiling from the exam halls on 12th March, Monday, as the biology paper was easy and balanced. Majority of the students DNA spoke to said “they had prepared from the textbooks and found the paper easy”. Students at the Sheth C. N. Vidyalaya at Ambawadi, a centre for Std XII Science stream, said that the questions were from the textbook and were without any blunders. They were not lifted from reference books.
An elated Vishwa Thakore says, "The paper was very easy as all the questions were from the textbook, and as I had prepared from the same, I found the exam easy." Students from general stream appeared for Geography and Secretarial Practice and Business Administration. They said that the paper for two subjects were not very tough. An official communication from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) states that 2,678 students in Ahmedabad city and 966 in rural appeared for the Std. XII exam. Interestingly, no cheating cases were registered in Gujarat on 12th March, Monday from the students of science and arts stream. However, three cheating cases were registered from Junagadh.
