The CBSE (Northeast) conducted a special one-day advocacy programme at Delhi Public School on 3rd March, Saturday for 39 parents from 16 schools of the city affiliated to CBSE on the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system for the first time to ensure that parent's views are taken while dealing with the overall development of the child.
Vineet Joshi, chairman, CBSE, said, "In the current world, children must have proper understanding of society and need to have a healthy competitive attitude. The parents need to have a clear idea on what the children are interested in and so there has to be a collaborative effort of both the teachers and parents in shaping up the child's future."
