Maharashtra ASSO CET - Medical and Dental
Medical Common Entrance Test – ASSO CET 2012
AMUPMDC refers to the Association of Managements
of Unaided Private Medical & Dental Colleges, Maharashtra. It conducts
AMUPMDC ASSO CET 2012 for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in various
private medical colleges and dental colleges in Maharashtra. AMUPMDC also conducts
the APGD exam for admission into various Post Graduate Degree and PG Diploma programmes
being conducted at private dental colleges and medical colleges in Maharashtra.

Colleges under AMUPMDC ASSO CET:
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate will be eligible for admission to Health Science Courses i.e. MBBS,
BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh, BSc-Nursing for the academic year 2012–2013 on fulfillment
of the following conditions:
- The candidate may be an Indian National / NRI / Foreign National. The candidate
is required to produce proof in support of his/her Nationality from a District Magistrate,
Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate. School leaving certificate of
HSC/12th Std indicating the nationality of the candidate as Indian or Valid Passport
also shall be considered as sufficient proof of Nationality.
- For Admissions to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing the candidate must be born on or before
31St December 1995 to be eligible to appear for Asso-CET 2012. For admissions to
BAMS candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1995. The Secondary School
Certificate (i.e. SSC) or equivalent examination certificate or the certificates
of age and nationality endorsing the date of birth will constitute the valid proof.
Eligibility Criteria for qualifying Examination for various courses:

For MBBS, BDS and BAMS: A candidate belonging
to open category must have obtained not less than 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry
& Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination. A Candidates
belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40% Marks Physics,
Chemistry & Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.

For B.Sc (Nursing): A candidate belonging to
open category must have obtained not less than 45% Marks in Physics, Chemistry,
Biology & English subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
A Candidates belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40%
Marks Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subject taken together at the HSC (or
Equivalent) Examination.
How to Apply?
Application Forms of Maharashtra ASSO CET are available at selected colleges in
Maharashtra on payment of
500/- by DD in favour of AMUPMDC payable at Mumbai and select branches of Punjab
National Bank (PNB) on Cash payment of
500/-. Application form will be available by post from AMUPMDC office Mumbai on
payment of
700/- (Including postal charges) DD in favour of AMUPMDC payable Mumbai. Completed
Application Form enclosed with a DD of
1500/- in favour of AMUPMDC payable at Mumbai for CET fees should reach on address
of AMUPMDC office Shreeji House, 75 Mint Road, Fort, Mumbai - 400001 on or before
31st March 2012 in an envelope provided with Application Form-by hand delivery/
speed post.
