and April 2012 to clear their pending subjects.
Bangalore University is giving two more chances for failed
undergraduate and postgraduate students of annual and semester schemes to clear
their pending subjects. The students can appear in two consecutive examinations
to be held in November 2011 and April 2012 to clear their pending subjects.
Annual scheme students who have completed their courses but have not cleared all
the subjects will be permitted to take the examination under the present scheme
conducted by the distance education department. If the subjects are not available
under the current schemes, candidates will have to appear for equivalent or near
similar subjects under the existing pattern with approval from respective authorities.
Annual scheme students will be permitted to select a similar existing subject, in
equivalent degrees under the Directorate of Correspondence and Continuing Course,
Bangalore University, if available or a similar paper be suggested under the present
semester scheme. The candidates shall be entitled for paper marks only excluding
internal assessment and the candidate shall obtain minimum passing marks subject
to the approval by the authorities concerned.
Semester scheme students will be permitted to take the odd and even semester
examination under the existing and present schemes and syllabus for two attempts
in each odd and even semester.
